Noticing Nature Walk - Garn Lakes - Main Car Park - September 28th

This walk is funded by Torfaen Council in celebration of World Rivers Day

Why Garn Lakes for World Rivers Day you say? Garn Lakes is the source of the Avon Lwyd River and what better way to celebrate a river than to explore exactly where that water comes from and why that’s important for the health and sustainability of our rivers.

Take a Moment and join us for a gentle guided walk around Garn Lakes, taking in the sights, sounds and textures of nature around us.
Contact with nature has been proven to be beneficial both physically and psychologically for a wide range of people, particularly for those experiencing chronic mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.

  • Meet at 13.30pm at the Main Car Park (bottom)

  • We can tailor the route to suit the groups requirements but there is a steady incline between the two lakes
